WALKING TOURS

We offer several interpretative walking routes.

The Pulque Route: $ 12.00 US p/p* (min. 3 people)

Theme route devoted to the handicraft of pulque, from the planting of the maguey, its trimming, scraping, extraction of the agave juice, transport (by donkey) to the tinacal (vat depot), and at the end, the tasting!

 

This route takes an hour and a half and is lead by a local guide who makes his own pulque on a small scale, in the traditional manner in which it has been elaborated for hundreds of years.

Route of the Columns: "Las Glorias"; Guide: $ 12.00 US p/p* (min. 3 people)

A charming walk to these distinctive rock formations through pine forests and pastures.

 

The route takes three and a half hours of easy walking.

Moon Route: Guide $ 12.00 US p/p* (min. 3 people)

Unforgettable night trail in the moonlight through the forest. This route is done once a month coinciding with the nearest weekend to a full moon. Its duration depends on the weather and the preferences of the walkers.
